Warm Up This Season with a Cozy Gingerbread Latte

As the weather turns chilly and the holidays approach, there’s nothing quite like the comforting aroma of gingerbread to get you in the festive spirit. Why not take it up a notch with a homemade Gingerbread Latte that blends the warmth of spices with the rich, creamy comfort of coffee? Here’s a simple recipe to brighten your mornings or cozy up your evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed  Shift Fuel coffee or espresso
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp gingerbread syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

For Homemade Gingerbread Syrup:

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves

Directions

  1. Make the Gingerbread Syrup
Combine water and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add spices and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain if needed. Let cool.

  2. Prepare the Latte
Brew your coffee or espresso and heat your milk until frothy. You can froth it with a milk frother or whisk it vigorously on the stove.

  3. Assemble
In your favorite mug, mix coffee with gingerbread syrup. Pour in the frothed milk and stir gently. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for an extra festive touch.

  4. Enjoy!
Sip, savor, and let the cozy vibes take over.

Whether you’re hosting a holiday gathering or treating yourself to a seasonal indulgence, this Gingerbread Latte is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Pair it with a gingerbread cookie or your favorite winter pastry for the ultimate holiday treat!
